We believe that everyone deserves to work in a safe environment and go home safe and fit, and communities have a right to trust that businesses working in their area care about their wellbeing. Our integrity and actions in creating a safer work environment helps ensure our people feel valued, protected and our approach is no different during COVID-19.
Throughout the pandemic, activities across our business have continued where it is safe to operate, due to the critical and essential nature of the work we undertake. Our sites are all operating in accordance with the latest Site Operating Procedures issued by the Construction Leadership Council (CLC) and with strict adherence to the legal requirements and guidance issued by the UK government, devolved administrations and public health authorities across the UK.
We have undertaken COVID-19 risk assessments for operating offices and sites in accordance with the government’s ‘Working safely during COVID-19’ guidance for offices and contact centres and construction and other outdoor work.
The ‘Staying COVID-19 Secure’ notice will be displayed in each location once the risk assessment findings and all five steps to safer working together have been implemented. Due to the range and volume of risk assessments required for our workplaces it is not practical to publish specific risk assessments.
