Job Title: Systems Engineer

The Role: As a Systems Engineer, you will leverage your operational expertise to influence the training requirements for future facility end users, ensuring a smooth project handover. You will identify and develop testing/validation requirements and pre-operational work scope during the design phase, write documentation, and execute activities in line with established startup, commissioning, and pre-operations processes.
You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with various teams within your project as well as external vendors and stakeholders. Your role will involve:
- Interpreting drawings and technical documentation
- Setting up and developing working level instructions
- Designing and planning maintenance delivery and plant operability
- Planning and developing schedules for parts and equipment lists
- Ensuring safety is at the forefront of all activities
The Ideal Candidate:
- Proficiency with Maintenance and Asset Management Software
- Experience with asset importance categorisation and registration
- Experience in reviewing and maintaining asset information and configuration management
- Experience in developing maintenance strategies and underpinning maintenance tasks
- Experience in implementing and modifying maintenance schedules
- Experience in an engineering/operational/technical role
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
- Good computer skills for producing operational documentation and reports
- Experience in Nuclear or a highly regulated environment is advantageous but not essential

Qualifications:
- HNC or Level 4 equivalent in an Engineering subject
- Ability to obtain security clearance
