Position summary:

We have a vacancy for a Completions & Interface Lead on the SRP Project at Sellafield, reporting directly to the Completions & Interface Manager. The successful candidate will support day to day activities and be accountable for the delivery of Completions and project interfaces, ensuring a smooth transition from Construction phase through to Commissioning and handover.

  • Ensuring compliance with Quality Assurance requirements, supporting provision of as built surveys and Lifetime Records.
  • Ensure licence conditions for completions activities are always adhered too.
  • Bring a new fresh perspective into Completions & Interface Management and provide ideas for the future projects to ensure we continually improve in this area across the business.

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee and drive the implementation of new Completion’s systems and processes.
  • Oversee and drive system and subsystem handover to the Commissioning and Operations teams.
  • Ensure reviews are being carried out and reports are available for progress at system and subsystem levels from the respective teams.
  • Oversee and drive a team of Completions Area Leads.
  • Ensure engagement and coaching of construction team in the importance of system and subsystem handover.
  • Ensure the completions processes and procedures are fit for purpose and in line with the businesses operating procedures.
 

Qualifications/skills:

  • Relevant engineering qualification – Min HNC or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant Professional Accreditation (PM, Construction, Engineering, Quality)
  • Can achieve Security Clearance (SC or Higher)
  • Experience of Commissioning / Completions ideally with a Construction / Engineering / Technical background and have experienced the usage of the completions management systems.
  • Experience of multi-discipline organisation, demonstrating ability to recognise and manage the day-to-day completions through the Construction phase at bulk level whilst mindful of sub-system and system completion in line with Commissioning needs.
  • Experienced in leading teams with clear direction, objective setting and management ability, particularly in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Nuclear sector experience or similar highly regulated industries, ideally in new build environment an advantage.
  • Experience of Construction delivery, maintaining program, and appreciation of technical queries and non-conformance.
  • Experience in the collation and maintenance of lifetime quality records, process driven delivery and closeout/handover of records and data to the client.
